I consider this episode to be one of my very favorite Mentalist stories, as Erica is not only beautiful and dangerous but very clever! I believe Jane was actually glad she escaped, though he would not have helped her to do it.

What would happen IF rigsby haven't showed up when RJ was trying to "help" van pelt? I bet that they would have killed her, his assistant that was driving the sherrifs car probably was blake associate too. What you guys think about? Sorry for my bad english, its a work in progress.
We saw the Homeland Security agents break into Jane's attic office and carefully photograph his board and many of the pieces of information it contained. We've also seen Kirkland carefully reconstruct the board, evidently in his private hotel room. If through him, Red John acquired his knowledge of how far Jane had progressed in finding his identity, then that fact serves in some way to explain how Red John could reliably appear to "predict" the identities of Jane's seven suspects. By the same logic, if Red John were in contact with Sean Barlow, as Barlow himself implied, he could also know that his latest murder victim, as a member of the insular carnie underground, would be known to Jane from his childhood. However, I'm having trouble imagining how Red John could possibly know that the dead woman, as a young girl, was a major part of a fond but private memory from Jane's own childhood? This little puzzle is never addressed in the series. Any discussion on this?
When Cho receives message saying 'GO TIME' by Wiley. it says message sent at 4:25pm, and vibrates. But it says the time is 9:36pm on his phone
Jane was right about the oboe playing the duck, but wrong about the bassoon playing the wolf. The basson plays the grandfather, not the wolf. The wolf is played by a trio of french horns.
I have a very clear memory of a great episode about 3 rapists, one of them being a cop. They hold there victim captured and abused her over days. It ends with Jane figuring it out while Lisbon is alone in a car with that guy, which leads to a shooting. Unfortunately i can't find that episode, it's like it wouldn't exist. Does anybody else happen to remember that episode or have I turned nuts?
Just watching episode for the first time, having missed a lot of episodes and story lines...
Anyway, Jane, Lisbon, Fischer and Defiance go to the rooftop. They start down, Jane goes back up, bars the door using garden shears and heads down the fire escape. Later, Abbott and Fischer access the rooftop... how?
