2.- The Scarlet Letter (October 1, 2009)
Jane arrives on the crime scene after his name in the car; he slept through Lisbon’s briefing on the way. Cho fills him in on what he missed. It looks like a woman working for a lady senator jumped off a bridge because she was having an affair with her husband. Lisbon sits with the shrink but doesn't feel like sharing. She's been going for five weeks, but he won't sign off on her yet. He signed off on Jane in one week. "He has good mental health," he says. 6.- Black Gold and Red Blood (November 5, 2009)
After Bosco discovers an audio transmitter in his desk, and the receiver in Jane's desk, he charges Jane with a felony. Even with bail, Jane must spend three days in jail, which he seems to welcome as a new experience. He waives protective custody because he's not a child molester and not technically a cop, and shares a cell like everyone else. Through his charming demeanor and astute observations, he's able to befriend several inmates, help the team on their latest case, and even land one of the case's suspects in jail so he can talk to him personally. Faking sickness, Jane escapes from jail, solves the case, and Lisbon successfully pressures Bosco to drop the charges. Read more…


7.- Red Bulls (November 12, 2009)
On a dark street, a bum pushes a shopping cart of bags around. Two cars pull up, and the bum abandons the cart. He's an undercover cop, and says that there are lights inside, and three entry points to the building, which Bosco's team believes houses a kidnapped teenage girl and her kidnapper. They take their positions at the entrances, break the door in, and storm the building. Inside is Lisbon’s team, examining an old, desiccated corpse. After a tense moment of confusion, everyone puts their guns down. Read more…

Rigsby and Van Pelt are in bed at night, when first Rigsby, then Van Pelt get a call saying that they've got a case. Shortly after, Jane gets a call from Bosco saying he has something to talk about, but wants it to wait until he gets back to the office. Read more…
